Descend - Crystal Companions

$7.00

Three stones chosen to amplify the work of the Descend pillar — and to keep close when you need a line held. This is the most direct set in the Cardinal Collection. No softness. No negotiation.

Each stone was selected because it does one thing consistently across every tradition that ever used it: it draws a boundary and holds it.

Carry these when something needs to end. When a space needs clearing. When you're done.

WHY EACH STONE

  • Smoky Quartz - Quartz irradiated naturally by granite — its dark colour is the result of aluminium impurities and natural radiation over millions of years. Used universally as a transmuter: absorbs what doesn't belong and neutralises it. Where black tourmaline repels, smoky quartz processes.

  • Black Tourmaline - A boron silicate mineral, one of the few stones that generates a weak electrical charge when under pressure (piezoelectric). Used across cultures as the primary protective stone — placed at thresholds, carried as shields, used to close spaces. The most consistently protective stone in recorded human use.

  • Labradorite - A feldspar mineral whose iridescence — labradorescence — is caused by light scattering between microscopic layers. Used in northern traditions as a stone of the veil: it sits at the threshold between what is seen and unseen, making it a natural companion for banishing and closing work. Protects while you do the hard thing.
